Deep Within

"Deep Within" is an ongoing photography series that delves into the innate human tendency to conceal certain traits or emotions deemed undesirable. The project portrays the psyche of hiding and keeping secrets, to shield oneself from the judgement or criticism of others. Suppressing emotions, feelings and characteristics of oneself to a point where it can cause distress and harm.

This series is about vulnerability, the way the work is presented adds to the experience. Small framed images covered with printed transparency allows the audience to come closer and lift the metaphorical & literal veil to look into the layered & shielded parts of the artist's life.
